Do your own fundraising
There are a plenty of ways you can fundraise under your own steam, from bake sales to sponsored barefoot walks.
All you need to do is register as a fundraiser, plan your fundraising activity – and off you go.
We've put together lots of useful resources to help you on your way.
Raise money at school and in your community
Students, teachers and parents – we've got loads of ideas to help you plan something, from non-uniform days and Ice Cream Fridays to talent shows and school discos. These are also fun for other groups like Scouts and Guides.
Download the ideas packs below to get some school-based ideas.
Join a Barnardo's fundraising group
It's easier to plan your fundraising when you're with other people. When you join one of our fundraising groups you're be part of a friendly team, supported by a local Barnardo's fundraising manager.
Together you'll be able to organise target-busting activities that are as engaging as they are effective.
Find out if there's a fundraising group in your community or workplace – or or call us on 0800 008 7005.
Some people find it easiest to attract support for their fundraising activity by setting up a page on a website like JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving. You can email friends a link to your page so they can contribute. It's an easy way to tell your friends, family and colleagues about what you're doing – especially if you use social media to spread the word. You can keep your pages updated with your progress, and at the end of your fundraising, the funds will transfer to us automatically.
We are so grateful for the money you raise. Here's how to pay it in.
We're committed to being completely open and transparent about our fundraising.
We take all complaints seriously and deal with them as soon as we possibly can.
