By raising money this Easter, you can make sure that Barnardo’s egg-stra special frontline staff can continue to provide the vital support vulnerable children and families so desperately need.

Over the past year, Barnardo’s frontline staff have gone above and beyond to provide essential support to vulnerable children, who have faced one of the greatest challenges of their lives. From providing food parcels and wellbeing packs, to carrying out doorstep visits and online group sessions, our staff have been a lifeline for the young people and families we support.

As time goes on, more and more young people will be identified as needing help, and we are preparing for an increased demand on our services. The repercussions of the pandemic could last for years to come, and the life-changing work of Barnardo’s staff will be more crucial than ever before. Help us keep our promise to believe in every child, and to help them not just to recover, but to thrive.

Our egg-stra special people

During this crisis, our family support worker has been in contact for support, and dropped off activities for the kids - it’s amazing, as other support services have now closed. She makes sure we are all coping well, asks how we all are. She’s an asset to her job. We could not have made it through this year without her support and now with the lockdown she keeps supporting us. So thank you to her from me and my family.
