  • Barnardo's Swansea Youth Homeless Prevention Service

    The aim of the Youth Homeless Prevention Service is to ensure that young people and their families have the right support at the right time to overcome their difficulties and ensure that family breakdown is avoided where safe to do so. The Youth Homeless Prevention Advisor works with young people aged 16 to 21 to provide information, advice, and practical help to prevent homelessness.

    Supported Accommodation for 16 to 24 year olds Bay6 - 6 bed emergency accommodation, individual self contained rooms with communal areas. 24 hours staffing with support to prepare young people for independent living. Referrals to the service come from Lancashire County Council and District Housing department.

  • Cardiff Supported Housing Young Families

    Provides housing and support for vulnerable young families where the primary carer is aged 16-21 years ( at move in) and is either pregnant or has a child/ren. The focus will be helping young parents gain the necessary skills, knowledge and awareness to live more independently in their communities, to manage a tenancy and to value all the joys of parenthood.

    Clacks Futures supports young people aged 16 – 26 who are care experienced and are currently living or returning to live in the Clackmannanshire area. We offer trauma informed therapeutic focussed support for young people to achieve the skills necessary to allow them to lead successful and productive lives.

  • Compass Bond Guarantee Scheme

    The Bond Guarantee Scheme assists young people on low incomes including those claiming Housing Benefit, to access private sector properties. The Bond covers up to the equivalent of 4 weeks rent arrears, damages or abandonment by the tenant.

    Providing housing and benefit advice to homeless young people and those at risk of becoming homeless between the ages of 16-25. The Housing Advice service also includes the Bond Scheme which assists Young people to find suitable accommodation.

    We provide supported lodgings for young people aged from 16 years who are leaving the care of Warwickshire LA or who have contact with the LA and are homeless. We aim to bridge the gap between care and independent living, providing young people a safe and supportive environment to develop skills for a successful transition to independence.
