  • Kickstart Futures - Heathdene Road

    The Kickstart Futures Service provides key work support sessions to Care Leavers who predominantly entered the UK either as Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children or as Survivors of Human Trafficking. The Service provides a combination of 1:1 and group support sessions aimed at increasing and improving Young People’s independence skills, community integration, self-confidence and mental health.

    Support & Lodgings provided to young people aged 16 to 24 who are homeless or in housing need. Approved householders provide a room in their home for young people across the Fylde, Wyre, Lancaster & Morecambe districts in Lancashire.

    Provides a range of accommodation, care and support services for 16-25 year old care experienced young people, in their transition from care to independent living. There are two supported living accommodation units, one in Belfast and one in Ballymena. Young people have their own flats and work with staff on an individual and group work basis to address their needs and to develop their skills.

    Leaving Care Service provides residential placements to young care leavers aged between 16-23 years old. These placements are in residences at Annadale Avenue, Haywood Ave, Windsor Dr (Belfast) and Grove Road (Ballymena)

    Almost all young people in care leave children’s homes and foster care by the time that they’re 18, compared to their peers who stay at home until their mid-20s. From April 2020 the Service supports these young people from the age of 16 to their mid-20s, to make a successful move to living in the community.

    The service recruits, trains and supports supported lodgings hosts in Nottingham and the surrounding areas. Hosts will provide safe and appropriate accommodation and support for care experienced and unaccompanied asylum seeking young people aged 16 to 21.
