Provides up to three home support sessions to families of children aged
6- 15 with a diagnosis of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
living across the Northern HSCT. The service provides support on:
understanding ADHD, the neuroscience of ADHD, supporting emotional
regulation, ADHD & school, promoting positive behaviours, sleep
The drama group is for 8 - 19 year olds with individual needs who would like to join a weekly drama group. You will have the chance to make new friends, practice your drama skills and show these in the annual production .

Art Attack is for 8 - 19 year olds with individual needs who enjoy all things arty, including art, music and dance and want to show off their creativity.

Askham Grange - Acorn House service is facilitated as a Support Service to develop a strategic approach to work with children and families of offenders and provide mothers in Askham Grange with a range of services which will enable them to maintain and develop their family relationships as part of the Children and Families Pathway.
A supported service to HMP Askham Grange to coordinate, organise and provide a minimum of 4 Family Days per year. To provide equipment to enhance the experience of a Family Day for the children whose mother is in prison (CAPI). Maintaining and supporting Family ties and aiding resettlement.
Each new resident to arrive at HMP Askham Grange will attend a Barnardo's Induction by appointment. The Induction will consist of an introduction to all services offered at HMP Askham Grange and referral where appropriate. Leaflets and Barnardo’s promotional pen, book mark and calendar will be give out as a pack. Maintaining and supporting Family ties and aiding resettlement.
