What we do
Barnardo’s BOSS is based in St Helens, Merseyside and is an Early Intervention Emotional Health and Wellbeing service, working alongside St Helens CAMHS service. The service works with all children and young people (5 – 19). The service supports children and young people through a range of therapy including counselling, art and play therapy and solution focussed interventions, and group work. We work in collaboration with St Helens CAMHS to adopt the Thrive Model of care for all children in the borough. All referrals need to be sent to Single Point of Access :[email protected]
We can help with
- No child should be left to deal with poor mental health alone so we provide services supporting children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing. We have centres where children and young people can visit and have a trained worker they can trust and talk to. We help them build their confidence and get to the root of their difficulties so they can feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful.
