What we do
Stabilising Homes: Supporting Young People to Feel Safe and Settled Where They Live
This pathway provides proactive support to young people who may be at risk of losing their current home. By strengthening relationships and offering emotional and practical support to both the young person and the adults they live with, the aim is to prevent disruption and build stability without the need for a placement move. Support is offered for up to 6 months to young people experiencing signs of instability at home.
We can help with
- No child should be left to deal with poor mental health alone so we provide services supporting children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing. We have centres where children and young people can visit and have a trained worker they can trust and talk to. We help them build their confidence and get to the root of their difficulties so they can feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful.

- We provide one-to-one support for children and young people looked-after by their local authority. We also help other young people in need of support, such as those on a child protection plan. Our mental health advocacy services work with children and young people receiving or wanting mental health support. Children and young people have a right to be heard and involved in decisions about them, so we support them by explaining their wishes and arguing their case. We also provide activities and training for families and professionals.
