What we do
The service provides informal mental health advocacy to children and young people in NE Essex. The service assists children and young people in making complaints using informal and formal complaints procedures and representing young people’s views to Social Services, Health and other agencies.
The service also provides independent and confidential advice, information, advocacy and support.
We can help with
- One-to-one support for looked-after children and young people and other vulnerable young people e.g. those on a child protection plan focused on their right to be heard and involved in decisions about them, explaining their wishes, arguing their case. Activities and training for families and professionals.
