What we do

The Positive Identities Service offers sexual orientation and gender identity expertise through the provision of training, consultancy and direct work interventions. We offer services to schools, organisations and wider communities so that they can provide safe spaces for LGBTQ staff, volunteers and children, young people and their families.

We offer a range of services, on a commissioned basis, including:
1. Sexual and gender identities awareness training for multi-agency professionals

2. Young people’s workshops/lessons and one to one work in primary and secondary schools, colleges and in the wider communities.

3. Faith toolkit – our resource aimed at assisting schools and organisations to address homophobic, biphobic and transphobic (HBT) bullying where there are issues relating to faith, culture and religion.
