About this service

Healthy Identities is a universal primary preventative project working with LGBTQ young people aged up to 25 to access advice, information and support local to their community. We offer sexual and gender identity training to health professionals across Calderdale, 1:1 interventions with children and young adults as well as facilitate an older LGBTQ youth group for 18-25 year olds.

We can help with

Mental health

Services supporting children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing, from one-to-one counselling to group work and schools-based programmes. We have centres where children and young people can visit and have a trained worker they can trust and talk to. We help them build their confidence and get to the root of their difficulties.
