What we do
This service provides two lines of support including;
* The Independent Visitors Service matches volunteers with Looked After Children and Young People. IVs provide support by visiting, befriending and mentoring Young People who have little or no contact with their birth families. IVs act as long-term befrienders/mentors, being matched for a minimum of 2 years with their Young Person.
* Advocacy Services: Independent, confidential advice and support for children to be aware of their rights and entitlements and to have their voice heard.

This service provides the following young people with advocacy support;
LAC, Care Leavers, Children with Disabilities and Exit Interviews with young people with care experience at transition points
We can help with
- One-to-one support for looked-after children and young people and other vulnerable young people e.g. those on a child protection plan focused on their right to be heard and involved in decisions about them, explaining their wishes, arguing their case. Activities and training for families and professionals.
