Kickstart Futures

What we do

The Kickstart Futures Service provides key work support sessions to Care Leavers who predominantly entered the UK either as Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children or as Survivors of Human Trafficking. The Service provides a combination of 1:1 and group support sessions aimed at increasing and improving Young People’s independence skills, community integration, self-confidence and mental health. The support sessions may be either home-based through semi-independent homes, or community-based, depending on the needs and circumstances of each individual Young Person. The service can also match Young People with volunteers who act as befrienders and mentors, to support Young People’s development in line with their Support and Pathway Plans.
