What we do
This Tier 2 service is a prevention and early intervention service.The focus of the work is to ensure that young people are kept safe by increasing their awareness of harm associated with substance use. This is done by proactive outreach, information and advice including harm reduction advice, brief interventions, holistic assessments, diversionary activities and onward referals to treatment services.
We can help with
- We support children and young people when an adult close to them, or they themselves, use substances in a way that becomes problematic, harmful, or dependent. We offer them advice and information on the impact of high risk behaviours, such as drug or alcohol use that becomes problematic, harmful, or dependent, as well as violence and domestic abuse.
