What we do
Dundee Child & Family Support Service works in partnership with children, young people and their families, who experience a range of additional support needs, including, disability, trauma, Child Sexual Exploitation/Abuse, family crisis, or where these is risk of family breakdown. We provide a range of whole family support, using a relational, trauma informed and rights-based approach to promote family wellbeing, safety and inclusion. The range of services provided includes, practical/ skill/ knowledge building parenting support, 1:1 therapeutic support, family sessions, befriending, parent buddy, focused group work, whole family residential holidays, short break support through our Care Inspectorate Registered Services Day Care to children Activity groups and Sitting Service. We support families as part of a multi-agency approach.
