This research aims to explore ‘what works’ in the prevention of child sexual exploitation and to share knowledge between prevention schemes in the UK and Netherlands.

A comparative evaluation of prevention and intervention work on sexual exploitation is undertaken by implementing and sharing a monitoring tool for measuring the impact of service provision on young people in the UK and Netherlands. The findings show common aspects of service provision between the two countries and that overall the risk of sexual exploitation is reduced by intervention.
