What we do
In February 2022 Barnardo’s were commissioned to deliver a series of groups to young people aged between 12-18 across Swindon under Safer Streets Funding. The aim of the project was to facilitate targeted group work across schools in Swindon focussing on healthy relationships, keeping safe, consent and safety online. In addition, 1:1 work was to be offered to young people who are unable to access the groups, or whose needs exceed that of the group.
We can help with
- Providing access to condom distribution, pregnancy testing, sexual health advice and guidance. Offering therapeutic work with victims of sexual abuse and supporting parents and carers.
