What we do
The Short Breaks service offers activity based support in a group setting via after school, weekend and holiday clubs for young people, aged 6-18 with Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) in the Liverpool area.
The service aims to give parents and carers a break from their caring responsibilities whilst ensuring that children and young people with disabilities and complex health needs have access to stimulating and fun activities whilst receiving appropriate supervision & care.
Trained support workers offer a safe and nurturing environment to children and young people.
We can help with
- Caring for your family is hard and everyone needs a break sometimes. We give the families and carers of children and young people with additional needs a chance to recharge their batteries. Our services, including our play and holiday schemes, give children and young people an opportunity to have fun, build their confidence and independence through inclusive play, share experiences and socialise in an inclusive space.
