What we do
The Caerphilly Wellbeing Service provides early, preventative support to children, young people and families across Caerphilly who are experiencing emerging emotional wellbeing needs, difficulties with resilience, challenges in family relationships, or mild to moderate wellbeing concerns.
The service offers a flexible model of 1:1 support, group‑based programmes, and whole‑family interventions, delivered in homes, schools, community settings and digital platforms. Working in partnership with Caerphilly County Borough Council and Families First, the service aims to strengthen family relationships, build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and promote positive mental and emotional health across the whole family.
Referrals to the service can be made directly or by contacting Caerphilly County Borough Council – Children’s Services Information Advice and Assistance (IAA) Service - 0808 100 1727
We can help with
- No child should be left to deal with poor mental health alone so we provide services supporting children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing. We have centres where children and young people can visit and have a trained worker they can trust and talk to. We help them build their confidence and get to the root of their difficulties so they can feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful.
