What we do
Aim:
To understand the lived experience of CYP with epilepsy and their families in the Black Country; including the assets, challenges and pathways they encounter.
Objectives:
The service will:
• Work with CYP with epilepsy (and their families) to gather their lived experience of the pathway of care and challenges they face
• Develop an engagement plan to gather lived experience from 16-20 CYP and families across the Black Country (including from all four trusts)
• Work collaboratively with the BC NHS ICB and stakeholders around the challenges and strengths in the current and future pathways
• Produce a formal report for the BC NHS ICB on outcomes/results and any solutions provided by the SU cohort and stakeholders
