What we do
Providing individual holistic support and group engagement for LGBTQ young people aged 15-25. The BASE offers a safe space to meet with peers and be part of a range of social activities on a weekly basis at the Centre. We work collaboratively with a range of supportive partners including schools, North Tyneside Council Children Services, Health services/professionals, voluntary sector together with parents/carers. New pilot project in 2022 for young adult LGBTQ+ young people to support move on from young peoples services.
We can help with
- Services supporting children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing. We have centres where children and young people can visit and have a trained worker they can trust and talk to. We help them build their confidence and get to the root of their difficulties.
