This training has been designed by care experiences young people to provide you with:
- An insight into the impact of abuse, discrimination, poverty and homelessness on children's lives.
- Inspiration to embed trauma informed practice in your organisation.
- Practical tips on how to engage with young people and form trusting and consistent working relationships.

Understanding Race Trauma (Insight and Solutions)
Young people co-deliver out Understanding Race Trauma training and has been designed by out Black and Brown Minds Matter group.
The aims of the training are:
- Insights into how much racism affects young people's wellbeing and mental health.
- Using lived experience to increase understanding racial, cultural, generational and community trauma.
- Workshop activities to develop effective solution in Children's Services.
