What we do
The service works with victims of domestic abuse and includes male victims. The service works in partnership with Dundee Women's Aid and is co located with Police Scotland.
The MIA Service provides a crisis intervention and advocacy service and will help vicitms and their families to minimise future risks of harm. The service will ensure that when you exit this service that clients can continue to be supported by relevant agencies.
The MIA staff will:
Complete on-going risk assessment.
Provide a safety planning and risk management.
Signpost you to relevant services
Liaise with agencies on clients behalf
Attend MARAC to ensure clients voice is at the centre of the meeting.
