    Axis Connect Families

    Family worker will facilitate a range of group and drop in sessions for parents of the young people we support, allowing us to take a holistic approach to the needs of our vulnerable service users. The aim is to provide a safe space for parents to offload, whilst promoting parental understanding and emotional health through a range of group work programmes such as:

    Focusing on supporting young people and their families from p6 – 2nd year. The emphasis is promoting the emotional health and wellbeing of young people affected by substance use who have limited supports are either about to or have recently made the transition from primary school to secondary school who are about to leave primary school and are impacted by substance use.

    Axis connect Young males

    Criteria: working with young people age from 16 – 26 yearsS1 – 21 who are living in North Lanarkshire and have been impacted by own or someone else’s substance use. And have other recurring complex issues such as: offending, victim and or perpetrator of abuse, high tariff mental health concerns, Learning/communication difficulties. Like the Axis Core Service delivery is based on relationships;

    Barnardo's Axis Lanarkshire Core

    The service supports young people age S1 -21 years (26 if care experienced ) living in the North Lanarkshire area, who are affected by their own or someone else’s substance misuse and other related complex issues.

    Barnardo's Looked After Substance Team

    An intensive support service for young people aged between 12-25 years who are or have been looked after at home or away from home, where substance misuse has impacted on their well being. The Service will work with young people and their parents and carers across Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire to provide one-to-one support and groupwork sessions where appropriate.

    Cyfle - CYPSMS - Tier 1

    Tier 1 is a universal prevention service working with schools and any other community groups, organisations, clubs, societies for young people.

    Cyfle - CYPSMS - Tier 2

    This Tier 2 service is a prevention and early intervention service.The focus of the work is to ensure that young people are kept safe by increasing their awareness of harm associated with substance use.

    Cyfle - CYPSMS - Tier 3

    Tier 3 is specialist substance misuse treatment service for young people allowing them to reduce their drug/alcohol use or become drug / alcohol free. The service also works to reduce the harms associated with the use of substances by young people.
