    Barnardo's 4U Services: IOW Miss U (Missing Interview)

    Barnardo's 4U- Miss-U service offers young people who have been reported missing to the police the opportunity to have an independent return home interview. We are able to support children and young people aged 5-18yrs who are the responsibility of the Isle of Wight Local Authority.

    Child Advocacy Service

    The Child Advocacy Service is a partnership with South Wales Police. When introduced, the overarching aim of the service was to engage with young people who had been reported as missing from home, who may be at risk of being sexually exploited and to protect them from harm. We meet with young people to conduct Return Home Interviews following missing episodes.

    We are commissioned by Buckinghamshire Council and Thames Valley Police to offer a follow up conversation with all children and young people who have returned from going missing. We are required to complete this visit within 72 hours of notification of the missing episode.
