About this service

Reprovide runs support groups for male Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse covering the areas of Somerset and North Somerset. Groups started running in July 2020 and will run for 2 years. One group meets in Taunton on Wednesday evenings and the other near Shepton Mallet on Thursdays.

This Somerset Reprovide programme is provided by Barnardo’s offering support for men who have perpetrated domestic abuse and want to change their behaviour.

Reprovide is a two year research programme that started in 2020. It is led by Bristol University

Men can self refer directly or can be referred by any professional supporting them. We have a very simple assessment process and applicants can normally start a group within one month. Current participants report that the group has been "incredibly useful" in helping them learn about the impact of their behavior.
