About this service

To provide information, advice and advocacy support to looked after children, children on child protection plans, child in need plans and young people’s plans. The service enables children to voice their views, wishes and feelings through the advocacy service and the Children in Care Council.

We can help with

Advocacy and participation (children in care)

One-to-one support for looked-after children and young people and other vulnerable young people e.g. those on a child protection plan  focused on their right to be heard and involved in decisions about them, explaining their wishes, arguing their case. Activities and training for families and professionals.
