Ubuntu Hertfordshire

What we do

The Ubuntu Project is focussed on building community capacity and connecting voluntary and statutory organisations working directly with children, families and young people arrived seeking sanctuary across Northern Ireland, Scotland and Hertfordshire. Through the sharing of best practice and advocacy work, the Ubuntu Practitioners Network will seek to influence system and policy change with a particular focus on improving the experiences of children young people and families who have arrive seeking international protection.

In addition, an Ubuntu Youth Voice Network is developing across the 3 regions for young people arrived seeking sanctuary, with the aim of ensuring their voices are fed into the heart of proposals and recommendations. To refer a young person you work with follow the link in this webpage.

If you are an organisation or group working with children and families arrived seeking sanctuary in your area, and interested in being involved in our Ubuntu Practitioners Network please complete the enquiry form through the link in this webpage and someone from our team will be in touch.
