Ubuntu Community Development Projects

What we do

Ubuntu Community Development Projects support local community groups and organisations to expand and adapt their existing provision making them more culturally sensitive and inclusive. Support can involve practical hands-on assistance for example with setting up a Cultural Kitchen project or developing a family befriending service. Ubuntu support may also be through resource sharing, or staff & volunteer training.

We can help with

    Refugee/asylum seeker services

  • All children, no matter where they’re from, or how they arrived in the UK, deserve to feel safe, happy, healthy and hopeful. We support children and families seeking sanctuary in the UK in a number of different ways. We help provide loving homes for children and young people who arrive on their own and help them get the healthcare and schooling they need. We also give parents practical support so their family can feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful.

  • Training

  • We provide high quality and high impact training to support a range of professionals working with children, young people and families. We have a clear focus on listening to the voices of children and young people and are child centered, promoting young people’s well-being, and safeguarding them from harm. Our extensive work and wide range of specialists across the country means we are well placed to understand both needs and challenges and to offer training and consultancy support to others.
