What we do
Aligned with the THRIVE model, the Neurodevelopmental (ND) Hub aims to provide timely and personalised support for neurodivergent children and families in Trafford. The ND early support offer is open to children and young people aged up to eighteen.
Service Aims: to provide early, targeted support to children and families with neurodevelopmental symptoms, with a particular focus on Autism and ADHD, to improve their educational and social outcomes and where possible, reduce the need for later, more intensive intervention.
We will provide information, advice and guidance for children, young people and families who require one off or temporary support as well as provide help through:
o Workshops and webinars on neurodivergence, sensory needs, communication, and education
o Provide access to neuro-profiling to better understand needs and provide supporting strategies
o Provide access to a range of evidence-based interventions
o Provide peer support networks tailored for neurodivergence
We work alongside teams in Early Help, CAMHS, Education and Health – reaching into Family Hubs provision and working closely with the children’s services.
