What we do

Linx Together, supporting and empowering parents of young people aged 12 to 25 years who are suspected to be Neurodiverse or have an autism or ADHD diagnosis.

Support offered includes -
Targeted Support - Personalised support based on the identified needs of the family, including understanding autism/ADHD, sleep support, emotional and mental wellbeing. Barnardo’s Cygnet Programme for understanding autism can be accessed online via targeted support.
Direct work with young people - Personalised support to young people aged 17-25 based on their identified needs including education and/or employment opportunities and mental health and wellbeing.
The National Autistic Society Teen Life Programme - Which aims to empower parents and carers to understand more about autism and explore useful strategies on how to support autistic young people through their teenage years. A 6-week programme delivered in person or online.
Peer Support Group - Led by Volunteers and Peer Supporters with lived experience - providing an opportunity to meet other parents of neurodiverse children and young people, to share experiences, build friendships, gain emotional support, share advice and improve wellbeing.

To access Linx Together support, families must be registered with a Barnsley GP.
