What we do
early intervention service delivered in partnership by Barnardo’s and Modality Partnership. Wellbeing workers based in 5 medical centres in Birmingham and Smethwick: - Enki, Laurie Pike, Handsworth Wood, Bellevue and Smethwick MC.
It provides practical and emotional support to families with children, helping them address challenges before they escalate. We aim to:-
Reduce appointment pressure by addressing non-clinical issues early.
• Improve patient outcomes through holistic family support.
• Prevent escalation to statutory services and safeguarding concerns.
• Enhance continuity of care by working alongside primary care teams.
• Strengthen community links and promote integrated care.
