What we do
BAYI is a commissioned service for young people aged up to 18 who live in Aberdeenshire that are at risk of/are in conflict with the law. Referrals come from the Youth Justice Management Unit (YJMU), Procurator Fiscal, Children's Panel, Children's Services SW. The aim of the services is to help young people to think about the consequences of their offending behaviour and make positive choices.
We can help with
- Our work in this areas aims to reduce the risk of children and young people offending and engaging in anti-social behaviour. We offer one-to-one intensive support, mentoring, diversionary and preventative activities and provide advice to support them to make positive choices so they and their families can feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful.
