What we do
Barnardo's Works West is an established service with an excellent track record and many years experience of working with young people within Renfrewshire. The service equips some of Renfrewshire's most disaffected and disadvantaged young people with the skills, experience and opportunities to access independent, sustainable employment. It effectively addresses issues at the root of social exclusion and assists young people to overcome disadvantage and the impact of poverty.
This programme is open to young people aged 16-20 interested in joining the childcare industry and will consist of a 6 week programme including work placement at a nursery.
All referrals go through Invest in Renfrewshire, if interested please contact them in the first instance.
