What we do
Established in November 2022 as part of Northern Ireland Refugee Resettlement Scheme (NIRRS) ARS works in partnership with local statutory and voluntary organisations co-ordinated through the NI Department of Communities and the Home Office. It supports families directly impacted by the conflict in Afghanistan linking them with local services such as health and education and supporting their independence and integration
with the local community.
We can help with
- Supporting families and individual children including: foster services for children and young people who arrive here on their own, help children get the healthcare and schooling they need while they are in the UK and giving parents practical support
