Throughout the Coronavirus crisis we’ve seen more than ever, that when a community comes together, incredible things can happen. There are so many ways you can get involved in your local community to make a difference to the lives of children and young people when they need it most.
Fundraise with your Community Group
Get your youth club, faith group, community group or local organisation involved, and make a difference to vulnerable children, together. From quizzes to fetes, coffee mornings to team challenges, there are so many fun-filled ideas for you to try. Our expert team will be here to support you in whatever you decide to do, and we’ve got heaps of virtual and in-person ideas too.

Become a Volunteer
Our community of dedicated volunteers help us to raise awareness of the issues faced by vulnerable children and young people, and share what Barnardo’s is doing to support their local community.
Volunteering is the perfect opportunity to hone your speaking skills, encourage public awareness of the challenges children and young people face and help raise vital funds.
To find out more about becoming a volunteer get in touch with our friendly Community Fundraising team via email with the subject ‘Community Volunteering’.
Hold a Collection Box
Small change can make a big difference.
