Christmas 2020 was a particularly hard time for many people across the UK with local and national restrictions keeping families and loved ones apart, breaking traditions and forcing family board games into zoom quizzes.

After an unprecedented ten months we all needed something to look forward to and a way to feel connected. With Barnardo’s traditional much loved Carol Concert unable to take place, Kidsmas Live was created; Barnardo’s first ever live-streamed fundraising event.

After working with Vodafone on the Great British Tech Appeal we saw an opportunity to integrate our Kidsmas Live messaging with Vodafone’s #keepingtheUKconnected and were delighted when Vodafone agreed to come on board as our headline partner, working together to mould and create a magical event.

In 2021 Vodafone again joins us as our sponsor and together we hope to recreate that magic and deliver a fabulous hybrid event to all our supporters.
