National 3 Peaks Trek
Conquer the three highest mountains in the UK in one weekend, with our National 3 Peaks Trek!
- Event date(s):
- 1 May to 1 October 2026
What to expect?
Embark on an unforgettable experience with the National 3 Peaks Trek and enjoy breathtaking views across the varying landscapes offered by each of the three mountains, from the rugged Scottish Highlands to the dramatic Lake District and the striking terrain of Snowdonia - with one, three or five-day options available to suit different trekking abilities, and the flexibility to join as an individual or in a group of any size.
Your adventure begins on Friday with travel to Fort William, where the group will prepare at the foot of Ben Nevis ahead of the challenge. Once settled, the trek then kicks off on Saturday morning with the ascent of Ben Nevis, aiming to complete the mountain in five hours (depending on chosen itinerary and group pace) while taking in sweeping views across the Scottish Highlands.
The second peak the group will tackle will be England's Scafell Pike. Boasting a rugged landscape of steep ascents and loose pathing for added challenge, this stage is typically completed throughout the night, for a demanding but rewarding ascent.
The final challenge of the National 3 Peaks Trek is Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon. Featuring a striking peak, Snowdon offers a fitting finale to your weekend trekking feat, with its mix of well-defined paths and rugged sections as the group makes its way to the summit.
With a fixed total drive time of 10 hours, the National 3 Peaks Trek is a fast-paced challenge all about maximising your time on the famous peaks whilst earning yourself stunning views throughout!
