Supporting LGBTQ children, young people and families in the UK

We work with – and believe in – LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and those questioning their sexuality or gender identity) children and young people, and their families.

We fight for the rights of those who identify as LGBTQ to have the same life chances and experiences as everyone else. How you identify should not be a barrier in your life, it should be a springboard. We work directly with young people, parents and carers, plus schools and local authorities to help tackle HBT bullying to ensure children and young people feel safe and empowered to be their full selves.

For professionals

We show those who work with children and young people who identify as LGBTQ how to tackle and prevent HBT bullying and provide guidance on legal responsibilities. We want to be the voice of LGBTQ children and young people, and can work with schools and organisations to ensure that  their needs are met by providing inclusive and safe environments.

For young people

We understand the anxieties and concerns that you may experience as a member of the LGBTQ community, and we are your champions. If you feel you are being treated unfairly, or you want to report a hate crime, we are right by your side. We champion the importance of having safe spaces - and help you celebrate being you!

For parents/carers

If your child identifies as LGBTQ, it can be difficult to know what is best to do as a parent or carer. We can help you provide support to LGBTQ young people and can help address concerns if you believe your child is being bullied. We also understand that sometimes you need support too.
