Spotlight on...

This Volunteers' Week (1-7 June), we're reminding our amazing volunteers that "you make the difference". But what does that really mean? Volunteering and Community Engagement Adviser for Barnardo's Scotland, Alison McLaughlin, explores this in her blog. Read it here.

Policy and Influencing in Scotland

Barnardo’s Scotland engages with external organisations to bring about positive change for children, young people and families within Scotland.

We produce a range of policy briefings and consultation responses for politicians, researchers and professionals, and we regularly run campaigns to involve our supporters in making positive change happen.

Fundraising

Barnardo's Scotland relies on public and corporate donations to fund the £2 million cost of running our Scottish services each year which support thousands of vulnerable children, young people and their families.
