Independent special needs school in Berkshire

High Close is a mixed residential and day school catering for up to 70 pupils who have a range of special educational needs arising from complex social, emotional behavioural and other difficulties. We are located in Wokingham in Berkshire.

We provide excellent classroom provision for Key Stage 2, 3 and 4 pupils, offering a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum.

Residential facilities at the school

Operated by Barnardo’s, we have four residential units of modern, purpose built accommodation for up to 9 boys and girls each, and our team of qualified Field Social Workers also provide support during term-time, holiday periods and for up to six months after they leave.
