Barnardo’s Scotland provides more than 130 community-based services throughout the country working with over 26,500 vulnerable children, young people and their families.
Family Firm Action Research - a film and report documenting the thoughts of young people about the charity becoming a Family Firm. This is a concept that aims to encourage Public Bodies and Third Sector organisations to offer care leavers employment and positive destination opportunities. All of the young people featured in the film have experience of the care system. It highlights the young people’s experience in relation to the opportunities, support and barriers facing care leavers when looking for employment. Read all about it here.
