Speech Debelle gets Teenagers Talking
Mercury Music prizewinner Speech Debelle teamed up with Barnardo’s to launch a new campaign to get teenagers talking about their lives. Barnardo's invited young people to film blogs and air their views on MySpace, YouTube and Barnardo’s Teens’ Speech Blog website. Clips were put together to form a Teens’ Speech film, which was be shown on YouTube on Christmas Day.

I am lucky enough to have a public voice through songwriting. Barnardo’s is giving teenagers an opportunity they wouldn’t usually have to tell the world their point of view.
