Barnardo’s chosen to act as Independent Supporters to help families get to grips with changes to disability funding and services

Barnardo’s has been chosen to become Independent Supporters for families of children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) in 29 areas across England, after a bidding process held by the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) on behalf of the Department for Education. The contracts, worth 3m, will run from July 2014 to the end of March 2016.
