A Channel 4 Dispatches investigation into telephone charity fundraising (8pm Monday 11 August) raises questions about how conversations with the public are sometimes handled. In the programme a training session is recorded using a Barnardo’s script to illustrate the importance of honest communication during calls. Barnardo’s has issued the following statement in response.
