Barnardo's other South Yorkshire Children's CSE and HSB Services
ReachOut shares a base with and works collaboratively with our other child sexual exploitation (CSE) and harmful sexual behaviours (HSB) provisions within South Yorkshire.
The Junction is a well established service with a team of specialist practitioners commissioned to provide support to children aged 7-17 years across Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley whose sexual behaviour is a concern.
The service also provides specialist advice and training to support carers and professionals in understanding and managing harmful or concerning sexual behaviour and contributes to research and practice development in the field of harmful sexual behaviours.
Satellite is a Barnardo’s funded specialist CSE service sitting within Co-located CSE teams in Rotherham (Evolve), Doncaster and Barnsley.
The service works to the Barnardo's 4 as model but focusses primarily on Direct Work with C&YP for whom there are significant concerns or who are involved in police investigations or court proceedings.
Rotherham Young Carers
The service provides support to children and young people from the age of 8 to 18 (up to 19th birthday) who give care to someone in their family, usually a parent, grandparent, sibling, or someone very close to them. The person they care for will have a serious or long term illness, disability, mental health difficulties or problematic use of alcohol or drugs. The support is available to any child or young person whose caring role has a negative impact on them physically or emotionally.
Referrals are made through school, health, Social Care, Voluntary Organisations and self-referrals are also accepted. The referral document can be obtained by telephoning the service on 01709 377157.
