Barnardo’s Parenting Matters

Barnardo’s Parenting Matters has provided group-based parenting support regionally in Northern Ireland since 1993 we have worked with over 5,000 parents who have more than 12,000 children.

At Parenting Matters, we believe that parenting is the most important and challenging task that most of us will ever do. We believe that parents should be supported as they care for their children. Parenting Matters offers parents that support, in the form of parenting groups and courses in local communities across Northern Ireland. Since 1998, the project has also provided training and supervision for those working with parents.
