Free will scheme
Barnardo's offers a free will-writing service for people aged 55+.
We work exclusively with qualified solicitors, who are licensed professionals operating within a code of conduct to ensure that wills are correctly drawn up and legal. It is hoped that should you participate in the Barnardo's scheme, you may also consider leaving a gift to Barnardo's in your will.
It is absolutely crucial to have a will. It is the only way of ensuring that your wishes are carried out after you are gone. Barnardo's strongly recommends using a solicitor when writing a Will.

To receive more information on our free will scheme, simply fill in our information request form or, if you prefer, you may call us on 020 8498 7880 or email the gifts in Wills team.
You (and your husband/wife) will be able to make your basic will(s) with a solicitor in your area. Once the will has been drawn up, you will be required to complete a form giving us some feedback.
Please note that advice given by solicitors is independent of Barnardo’s or any other charity. There is no obligation to leave anything in your will to Barnardo’s or to any other charity.
