We need foster parents now more than ever in Wales, ordinary people who may not realise they have the extraordinary power to change a child’s life and give them the chance of a brighter future.

Barnardo’s has been providing adoption and fostering support for more than 100 years, so we have all the knowledge and experience to help you take those first steps to changing both a child’s life and your own.

As a charity we exist for the good of children, not for profit, in fact we are the largest not for profit fostering and adopting agency in the UK, so you know you will be in the best of hands now and in the future.

Welsh Government is committed to removing profit from care by 2027 so if you are currently with a profit making, independent fostering agency and wish to transfer to us, we can help make that as easy as possible at any time.

We cover all parts of Wales, provide you with the training you need and 24/7 access to a specialist social worker. You will receive a generous financial package and you will get a warm welcome and lots of support from our diverse group of existing foster parents who will be happy to share their experiences with you.
