Lothian Supported Carers Scheme

Lothian Supported Carers Scheme (LSCS) is a service for young people aged 16-17 who have been looked after and accommodated in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Become a carer in Scotland

For young people, LSCS can be a stepping stone on their journey towards independent living, as their carer offers them accommodation and day-to-day support.

Carers receive an allowance of £250 each week, support from a dedicated team of staff, and the chance play a significant part in a young person’s journey.
