  • Barnardo's Nurture Service Inverclyde (Thrive Your Time)

    Nurture Services provides a wide range of universal and specialist opportunities on site to promote family wellbeing, our staff are skilled at delivering services to children at different ages and stages. Children and families are at the core of everything we do, we have the space to accommodate group work activities and individual packages of support.

    The service provides a range of short breaks to children with disabilities including holiday activity days, after school clubs and youth groups.

  • Caern Community Disability Service

    Caern House is a respite service for children with learning disabilities, physical diabilities or autism based at Gogarbank in Edinburgh. The Community Team offer outreach, holiday hub support, Youth clubs for autistic children in mainstream education. We can also deliver Barnardos Cygnet programme. We can also provide outreach on a Spot Purchase basis.

    At Barnardo’s Bumble B’s, we believe that every child and young person deserves a supportive and inclusive community where they can thrive, regardless of their abilities. Our youth groups will be a vibrant and welcoming space designed specifically for children and young people with disabilities, to come together, build friendships, and explore their potential in a nurturing environment.

  • DSI Short Breaks Service

    This service allows parents/other professionals to purchase a trained disability worker to support children & young people either in the family home or in the community. The service is registered with CQC as a domiciliary service & is rated as good at the last inspection

  • Home Links Daycare

    Barnardo’s Home Links Day Care service is a long standing community based short-break service for disabled children and young people who may have autism or challenging behaviours. We work in partnership with Belfast Trust Children's Disability Teams. Home Links Day Care provides an afternoon club at 230c Belmont Road alongside where possible community leisure activities.

    Barnardo’s Home Links is a family based short-break service for disabled children and young people who may have autism or challenging behaviours. We work in partnership with Belfast Trust Children's Disability Teams. This longstanding service recruits, assesses and supports carers to provide regular overnight stays.
